The Story Behind Our New Luxury Lingerie Collection
As I reflect on twenty five years of designing Fleur of England, I often find myself returning to the same source of inspiration: nature.
The changing seasons, wildflowers dancing in the breeze, the rich colours of the British countryside and those fleeting moments of stillness have inspired countless collections over the years. Nature has always been one of the threads woven through the heart of Fleur of England.
Today, I am delighted to introduce Iona, our newest luxury lingerie collection and one of the most personal designs I have created.
As part of our 25 Threads of Luxury celebration, Iona represents what I call the Thread of Nature. A reminder that true luxury is not always found in excess or extravagance. Often, it is found in simplicity, craftsmanship and our connection to the natural world.
The Inspiration Behind Iona
Iona is the grounded soul of our Autumn Winter collection.
Her beautiful olive green tones honour the British landscape. She is inspired by wildflowers bending in the breeze, windswept hills, ancient woodlands and the quiet strength found in stillness.
There is a serenity to Iona that feels particularly relevant today. In a world that constantly asks us to move faster, achieve more and do more, I wanted to create a collection that invites women to pause, soften and reconnect with themselves.
She is calm yet quietly powerful.
Confident without needing to command attention.
Elegant without excess.
Iona embodies the beauty of understated luxury.
Bespoke Hand Drawn Embroidery
Every Fleur of England collection begins with a pencil and a blank sheet of paper.
For over twenty five years I have hand drawn our embroideries, creating exclusive artworks that cannot be found anywhere else.
Iona's bespoke embroidery was inspired by organic botanical forms found in nature. Delicate motifs trace a beautiful organic edge across the body, carefully designed to accentuate the natural contours of the female form.
The embroidery feels effortless and fluid, as though it has grown naturally across the tulle.
This balance between artistry and wearability is something I continually strive for in every luxury lingerie collection we create.
Exceptional Craftsmanship and Fit
At Fleur of England, beautiful design is only one part of the story.
The true luxury lies in the craftsmanship.
Each piece is meticulously developed with our expert partners in Portugal, many of whom we have worked with for decades. Together we obsess over every detail, from the placement of embroidery to the comfort of every strap and seam.
Iona introduces our new Longline Boudoir Bra, one of my favourite silhouettes to date.
Designed to celebrate the female form, it features adjustable back straps and thoughtful construction details that deliver the exceptional fit Fleur of England is known for.
Balancing support, comfort and elegance, it perfectly embodies our philosophy that lingerie should feel as beautiful as it looks.
The Silk Babydoll
One of the standout pieces within the collection is undoubtedly the silk babydoll.
Crafted from luxurious silk and adorned with delicately embroidered cups, it captures the gentle radiance of unhurried intimate moments.
The soft olive green tones create an unexpected sophistication, while the fluid silhouette skims the body beautifully.
For me, this piece perfectly captures the spirit of Iona.
Romantic.

What Creates True Luxury?
As part of our 25 Threads of Luxury anniversary celebration, I have spent time reflecting on what luxury truly means.
For me, luxury has never been about trends.
It is about artistry.
Craftsmanship.
Exceptional fit.
Materials chosen with care.
Pieces designed to be treasured for years rather than seasons.
Iona brings all of these elements together.
She is a celebration of nature, resilience and quiet confidence.
A reminder that beauty often exists in the simplest moments.
And perhaps most importantly, she reflects one of the enduring threads that has inspired Fleur of England for twenty five years.
A Keepsake to Mark Twenty Five Years
To celebrate both the launch of Iona and our twenty fifth anniversary year, I wanted to create something meaningful to accompany each order from the collection.
Inspired by our anniversary theme, 25 Threads of Luxury, I have designed an exclusive bookmark featuring one of my original sketches.
More than a keepsake, it is a reflection of the values that have shaped Fleur of England for twenty five years: artistry, craftsmanship, heritage and exceptional fit.
At a time when so much feels fleeting, I wanted to create a beautiful object that could be treasured. A gentle reminder to pause, slow down and enjoy life's quieter moments, much like the spirit of Iona herself.
Each Iona order will include this limited edition anniversary bookmark, created as a small thank you to our wonderful community who have supported Fleur of England throughout the years.
It is these thoughtful details that, for me, define true luxury.
