Twenty-Five Years of Intimate Design with Soul: Celebrating 25 Years of Fleur of England

As Fleur of England enters its 25th year of luxury lingerie, the emotion that rises for me above all else is gratitude.

Gratitude for the journey. Gratitude for the creativity that has shaped every collection. Gratitude for the people and, in particular, my team who have made it possible for an independent British luxury lingerie brand to thrive for a quarter of a century.

It has been a rollercoaster at times, but it has also been a joy. To build something slowly, intentionally, and beautifully. To watch a brand grow and mature while remaining elegant, feminine, and true to its soul. That is a rare privilege.

A Defining Moment in the Early Years of Fleur of England

One of the moments that still grounds me today happened at the very beginning of the journey.

In 2001, I launched my first collection, Stiletto, at a trade show in Harrogate. I was excited, but deeply nervous. During the show, the Buying Director of Liberty of London asked to speak with me privately. Liberty went on to take the collection exclusively in London, using it to help launch their new Regent Street store.

Fleur of England was chosen to represent craftsmanship, artistry, and design with intention. The collection was sent to leading fashion editors as a symbol of what the store stood for.

That moment taught me something I still hold close today: when you believe deeply in what you are creating, and when it comes from authenticity and craft, extraordinary things can happen.

Growing as a Female Founder Over 25 Years

I began Fleur of England at 26. I didn’t know other female founders, and I didn’t have a roadmap. What I did have was vision and determination.

Twenty-five years later, I have grown as a designer, entrepreneur, mother, and leader. I have built this business alongside raising my family, and that has shaped the brand profoundly. Fleur of England has remained intentionally niche, refined rather than rushed, because it had to sit harmoniously alongside life, motherhood, and creativity.

I never set out to build a brand to exit. I wanted to build something to live with. Something to nurture, evolve, and enjoy. That philosophy still defines everything we do today.

Why Intimate Design Matters in Luxury Lingerie

Lingerie sits closest to the skin, and because of that, it has the power to transform how a woman feels.

When lingerie fits beautifully, feels exquisite, and is crafted with intention, it becomes a quiet source of confidence. It changes posture. It changes energy. It becomes a private strength, known only to the woman wearing it.

For me, lingerie is intimate design with soul. It must feel soft, luxurious, and comfortable. It must honour the body and celebrate modern femininity.

Craftsmanship, Slow Fashion, and Human Connection

In a world driven by mass production, automation, and speed, Fleur of England deliberately stands apart.

Our embroideries are hand-drawn by me in my much-loved sketch book. Our fabrics are entirely bespoke and exclusive to us. They are not replicated or diluted. They are created by skilled artisans and designed to last.

In an increasingly AI-driven world, I believe garments with soul matter more than ever. Luxury is about connection. Connection to the maker. Connection to the story. Connection to the emotion behind the piece.

True craftsmanship cannot be copied. Preserving those skills and that human touch is one of our greatest responsibilities as a luxury brand today.

Our Vision for the 25th Anniversary Year

Our 25th anniversary is not a retrospective. It is a beginning.

This year is about celebration, creativity, and joy. We are collaborating with like-minded luxury brands, opening our archives, and sharing our heritage more deeply with our customers.

We are launching our Autumn Winter 2026 collections in Paris, presenting Fleur of England as a modern British heritage house with confidence, clarity, and creativity.

This year marks the start of our vision for The House of Fleur, and it is only the beginning of what comes next.

Leading With Creativity as a Luxury Brand

For me, creativity is leadership.

Throughout this anniversary year, we are inviting our customers into our creative world through illustration, storytelling, pop-ups, and intimate showcases. We want this year to feel interactive, joyful, and deeply human.

I am giving myself and my fabulous team permission to be bolder, braver, and more expressive than ever before, leading with creativity in every sense.

A Thank You to the Women Who Wear Fleur of England

To the women who wear Fleur of England, thank you.

Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for supporting an independent British luxury brand. Thank you for returning to us time and time again.

This brand exists because of you.

Throughout this year, we will be collecting and sharing messages from our community about what Fleur of England means to you. I cannot wait to hear them.

Looking Forward

My vision remains unchanged.

To create an intimate design with soul. To celebrate the power of modern femininity. To make women around the world feel extraordinary.

Twenty-five years in, and we are only just beginning.

With love,

Fleur
