Celebrating Twenty Five Years of Lingerie as Art

There are moments in business that invite reflection.
This year marks twenty five years of Fleur of England, and as I look back on the journey, I find myself returning to a question I have been quietly exploring since I launched my first collection.
What creates true luxury?
Over the past twenty five years, I have designed hundreds of luxury lingerie pieces, worked with some of the finest French lace makers and artisans in Europe, travelled the world presenting collections, and had the privilege of dressing extraordinary women. Yet the answer has never been found in trends or fleeting moments of fashion.
True luxury is something deeper.
It is found in craftsmanship. In artistry. In heritage. In exceptional fit. In the details that often go unseen but are felt every time a garment is worn.
To celebrate this milestone, we are delighted to introduce our anniversary series:
25 Threads of Luxury
Over the coming months, we will be sharing the inspirations, values, materials, people and ideas that have woven through Fleur of England for twenty-five years.
This is not a timeline of our history.
It is an exploration of what creates true luxury.
The threads that have shaped every luxury lingerie collection, every silk nightwear design and every piece of French lace lingerie we have created since 2001.
The Foundations of Luxury
At the heart of Fleur of England are four enduring pillars.

Luxury begins with craftsmanship.
Every Fleur of England collection starts with a hand-drawn sketch. Our exclusive embroideries are designed in-house before being brought to life by skilled artisans using traditional techniques passed down through generations.
From the placement of each embroidery motif to the construction of every luxury bra and brief, craftsmanship remains at the centre of everything we do.
artistry
I have always believed that lingerie is one of the most intimate forms of wearable art.
For me, designing begins long before fabric is selected. Inspiration can come from a flower in bloom, an antique textile, a landscape, a piece of architecture or a treasured memory.
Each collection tells a story, transformed from pencil sketches into luxury lingerie designed to be treasured.
Heritage
Twenty five years in business is a privilege.
Throughout this anniversary year, we will revisit some of the collections that helped define Fleur of England, from the enduring beauty of our Signature Lace collection to iconic designs such as Jasmine and Onyx.
These collections are part of our story and continue to influence the designs we create today.

Beautiful lingerie should feel as exceptional as it looks.
One of the most important lessons I have learned over twenty five years is that confidence begins with fit.
Every Fleur of England piece is carefully developed to achieve the perfect balance between support, comfort and elegance. It is a philosophy that continues to guide every collection we create.

One of our newest collections, Iona, beautifully embodies what we call The Thread of Nature.
Inspired by wildflowers, windswept hills and the quiet beauty of the British landscape, Iona celebrates one of the most enduring influences on my work and reminds us that true luxury is often found in life's simplest moments.
A Collectable Anniversary Keepsake
To mark this special anniversary year, I wanted to create something meaningful to accompany our collections.
Throughout our 25 Threads of Luxury celebration, we will be producing a series of beautiful collectable bookmarks featuring my original sketches and illustrations.
Inspired by the same artistry that sits behind every Fleur of England collection, each bookmark celebrates the values that have shaped our journey over the last twenty five years.

Artistry.
Heritage.
Fit.
Nature.
Confidence.
The beauty of slowing down.
Designed to be treasured, these bookmarks are a small thank you to the incredible community of customers, stockists, artisans and supporters who have been part of the Fleur of England story.
Looking Forward
While anniversaries naturally encourage us to reflect on the past, they also invite us to look ahead.
The final thread in our story has not yet been woven.
As we celebrate twenty five years of luxury lingerie, silk nightwear, bespoke embroidery and French lace craftsmanship, I am filled with excitement for what comes next.
