As the founder and creative director of Fleur of England, luxury black lace bras have always been a passion of mine. I have always been captivated by the exquisite artistry of lace, and I love designing with it—bringing to life intricate patterns, delicate textures, and timeless silhouettes. I love the way such a beautiful traditionally feminine fabric can be brought to life with dynamic and innovative designs, for me it’s the ultimate in Romance. The Craftsmanship and origins Behind Our exclusive Lace
Our luxury black lace bras are crafted from French lace sourced from a renowned family-run business in Lyon, an atelier with a deep heritage in lace-making. This artisanal lace is crafted with intricate detailing, ensuring an impeccable finish. One of the most exquisite features is the specialist eyelash lace, a delicate yet strong lace that adds a touch of femininity while contouring the body’s curves. This unique lace ensures a superior fit, offering both support and a barely-there feel that enhances natural beauty. I have been working with this lace for many years, its floral design pattern is captivating. Lace is a knitted fabric made on specialised machines, and the yarns used in this one are polyimide and nylon. The design itself is traditional and has been in this family-run business archive for many years. The lace is cut by hand to make beautiful patterns on my designs; you can see below a glimpse of this process.
